In providing our CME/CE certification services, we may require you to submit your professional license numbers and other credentials. We use this information for identity verification, record-keeping, to provide certain services and to issue you CME/CE credits as required by accrediting bodies.
We may combine information you provide to us with data from other sources, such as publicly available records, marketing lists, social media accounts (per your privacy settings), and other third party data providers. We do not currently respond to browser-based "do not track" signals.
We use the information we collect to provide, personalize, maintain and improve our virtual CME products and related services. This includes using your data to process orders and deliver content, track your participation for certification purposes, communicate with you about your account, provide customer support, conduct educational needs assessments, and operate our business.
We may also use your information for marketing and advertising purposes, such as sending product updates, promotional emails, and targeted advertising, unless you have opted out of receiving such communications.

We use reasonable efforts to ensure that any third parties we share your data with have adequate privacy and security measures in place. We may also share anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you.
In the event of a corporate transaction like a merger, restructuring, sale or acquisition, your information may be transferred as a business asset.
We will retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide you services, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You can request deletion of your data as described below.
Registering for an In-House CME program, or use of any In-House CME service, is considered an opt-in by you to allow us to:
- Communicate with you electronically, such as by email, text, fax, telephone and live video.
- Share your information with any financial supporters of your registered program(s).
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails and other communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in the messages you receive. If you unsubscribe, it will become effective within 2 business days. If you are currently registered for a program(s) when you unsubscribe, then your unsubscribe status will become effective 2 business days after completion of the previously registered programs. Upon the effective date of your unsubscription your account will be considered as inactive. The data of inactive accounts remains intact but no business activity related to inactive accounts will occur.
If you subsequently register for a new In-House CME program after unsubscribing, use any services of In-House CME after unsubscribing, or reactivate your In-House CME account then you are once again considered opting-in to allow our use of your information per this policy.
Even after unsubscribing from promotional emails and other communications from us, you may still receive direct service-related messages from us regarding your current program registrations and past programs you attended.
You should use your browser or device settings to manage cookies or sharing of geo-location data.
You can access and update your registration information by logging into your account on our website: inhousecme.com. You may also contact us at privacy@inhousecme.com to request access to other personal data we have about you, or to correct any inaccurate data. We may request proof of your identity to process such requests. You can also request permanent deletion of your data by emailing privacy@inhousecme.com, but we may need to retain some information to comply with legal obligations. Once your data is permanently deleted it is non-retrievable, including programs you attended and educational certificates.
We will respond to access and deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Our services are intended for professionals and adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us at privacy@inhousecme.com to request deletion of the data.
We utilize physical, administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure. However, no security measures are 100% failsafe. We will notify you of any data breaches as required by applicable laws.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. This Policy does not apply to those websites' privacy practices, which may differ. We are not responsible for any third party websites.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our business practices. We will post the updated version here and indicate the last revised date near the top of the policy. Any changes will become effective upon posting the revised Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to regularly check this policy for updates.
